 OWEN YONG, an internationally sought-after architectural designer, runs a successful construction company and leads a busy life. He is also a Taekwondo Master (Sabumnim), training young students in his community. Owen Yong becomes triggered by memories of a promise he made twenty years ago—a man's word is his bond—to find his childhood Taekwondo sparring partner once they grew up. He desires to keep his promise when he sees a pupil in his class who bears a resemblance to her. Driven by nostalgia and curiosity, he becomes obsessed with finding her despite their ethnic and cultural differences. Each episode of the limited series chronicles his journey back to Rebecca, and the ultimate fight between his desire to reconnect and the powers that would try and stop him.
